16 Day Skirt Challenge: Day 4

So I do own a midi skirt...  I guess sometimes you need to actually look in your closet.

Resisting a Skirt...and a Sale!

A co-worker just asked me to walk to the GAP with her on our break.  It's down the hall from our office.  (By the way, this co-worker knows I'm trying to stop spending, how dare she ask me?!).  Soo I went.  I need tights and don't want to pay $20/ea. at Legs Beautiful so I thought I would check the GAP.  Thankfully, they had gorgeous tights for 2/$25 so I bought them.  As I was walking out, I saw the GORGEOUS skirt (below) on sale for $32 + 30% off!  A skirt for $22?!  How could I resist?  I can't resist a skirt, let alone a sale.  But I did.  I'm actually pretty proud of myself.

Bright Colours for Fall!

I hear (and see) bright colours are not going away anytime soon (yay!).  Now that I've started this challenge, I'm happy that I can carry my bright bags well into fall.  Thinking about what to pair with my bright green and bright orange bags (seeing as they haven't been used in years), I thought I would look for inspiration.  Love these looks from Dior and See by Chloe.

Thinking I might look like I'm dressing for Halloween if I paired my bright orange bag with a black dress, I no longer hesitated after seeing this look below (love!).
