Speaking of Marc by Marc Jacobs, I instantly fell in love with this skirt.  Because I'm petite, it doesn't fit the way it's supposed to and is more like a maxi skirt, but nonetheless the bright colours make me happy (and I love a maxi skirt anyway).  This is one piece I'm definitely not giving up for fall.

Yes, this blog is called Wear Me Already, which is meant to help me wear the clothes that are actually in my closet.  But part of the problem is that I'm a shopaholic, which means I'm still going to be buying clothes.  I'm not even going to pretend anymore that I'm going to stop.  I tried, it didn't work.  The main problem is that I wear the same outfits over and over again and "save" items in my closet (for no apparent reason) and that's what I'm working on.  I'm getting better!  But you always need new items to mix with your old items to make them feel fresh and new.  So these are the Marc by Marc Jacobs pieces that I plan on buying (or hope to buy) to help me with that.  Or just because I'm obsessed with his clothes.  And, again, I'm a shopaholic.

The Swimsuit

I love bathing suits.  I was always obsessed with Victoria's Secret catalogues and could never decide which swimsuit to get because I would want them all.  Then I would get them and think, hmm these don't look the same.  Probably because I'm not tall and don't have abs of steel.  But I keep buying them.  And they usually just sit in my drawers.  (I bought a Diane von Furstenberg one piece last summer that I have yet to wear, which is going on the list!)  After this pregnancy, I was determined to find a bathing suit that I would actually feel good in.  And I found one!  Now the others are going to continue to sit in my drawer.  I guess the other solution is I could start to work out.  Well, that wasn't part of the deal.

Pool Party!

I went to a pool party yesterday.  Besides being on a beach, there's no better way to spend a summer day.  I love colour blocking so I was instantly drawn to this C&C California dress.  I had yet to wear it so it was the first that came to mind.  It's bright and fun and, besides the heat, I was super comfortable.  I would also wear this out to brunch with friends, cinching it at the waist with a brown belt, adding a necklace (I don't understand the whole jewelry by the pool thing) and putting on some wedges for a more polished look.

If Anything Can Help Me Get Over My Louboutins...

I've said it a million times.  I LOVE a wedge.  Yes, I just bought 3 pairs of shoes (in 1 day) a few weeks ago, including a wedge sandal.  But when you come across a sale like this, you don't even think twice about it.  These Valentino wedges just arrived at my door and not only are they gorge, but they are probably the most comfortable wedges I've ever had.  These will definitely help me get over the Louboutin wedges I had to sell (because they didn't fit properly, after a couple of years of denial).  These will never be a "wear me already" item.  I cannot wait to wear them.  Until then, is it weird if I sleep walk around the house in them?

Wear Me Already: Marc by Marc Jacobs romper and bag

I was only going out to get my eyebrows done and get a massage (not a relaxing spa one, an I-have-a-back-like-a-90-year-old one) and normally would throw on shorts and a tank, but I wanted to wear the Splendid wedges I was worried I wouldn't get around to wearing seeing as I was heading out without the kiddies.  I love this romper and thought it would look great with the sandals and, sadly, I don't wear it that often.  I felt dressed up, not wearing the usual flip flops, but I felt great, put-together.  I often think, I have these great clothes that I never get to wear (or at least often), but I realized yesterday that it's not that I don't get to wear them, it's that I "save" them because I think they're too cute/nice to throw on just to go get my eyebrows done.  And then they hardly get worn. Well, things are about to change.

What better bag to pair with this romper than a Marc by Marc Jacobs one?  I bought this bag a couple of months ago because 1) I love anything Marc Jacobs; 2) it's white and I thought it would be perfect for summer; and 3) it's a cross body bag, which is perfect when you are dealing with 2 kids.  Oh, and 4) it was on sale!  Except yesterday was the first time I had used it.  See, this is what's wrong with me.
