Are we going to skip fall then? I was pretty sure it was early September not early November. Here I am, ready to transition my (bright coloured!) dress (one I haven't worn in a while) into fall with some peep-toe wedges and a sweater but, clearly, I didn't get the memo that we're dealing with winter weather already. I was wearing sandals last week! This is what I don't like about fall. If it slowly cooled down and I was able to ease into boots and coats and ease into the cold weather, I would be fine. But no, the cold chill is thrown at me the first day back to work after Labour Day. I still have other peep-toe shoes to wear! I refuse to give in to this weather. I will decide when I'm ready for fall. So here I am showing Mother Nature who's boss by not wearing tights. And freezing while doing so.
